If you want to purchase a School Site License, this information applies to you.

Permitted Uses—you may:

  • Install the program application on any computers within the school including any building, trailer, or other structure considered part of one school site or campus.
  • Install the software (both the program application and the educational companion) on the school and/or home personal computer/s of the teacher/s, lab personnel, media specialist/s or other authorized professionals overseeing the instructional use of this software at the school site.
  • Make photocopies of any of the print materials, document text and other material in the educational companion for students using the program application at the school site.

Prohibitions—you may not:

  • Load this software to a file server or use it with a CD-ROM player configured to act as a file server. It was not designed to be administered via a network.
  • Make a copy of this software, including material printed from the PDF files contained on the educational companion for uses not explicitly authorized in the license acquired for this software.
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or make any attempt to discover the source code of the software.
  • Translate or create derivative works based on the software.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any notice of the Thomas Day Education Project software copyright or other proprietary rights related to the package.
  • Sub-lease, sell, lend, rent, or lease any portion of the software.
  • Transfer ownership of this license to anyone else.
  • Give or sell one or more versions of the software to another person or entity while retaining the other version(s).
  • Transfer ownership of the software or any direct product to any person or entity in violation of the United States Export Administration Act.
