About PayPal

PayPal is a part of eBay. It is a simple, very secure, and proven method for making online purchases, either by using your credit card or with funds deposited to your PayPal account. If you are not a registered user of PayPay, you will be prompted to fill in information about yourself and how you wish to pay for the products you buy online. If you choose to use your credit card, you can complete the process in a few steps and then make a purchase right away. If you choose to open a PayPal account you may not be able to complete a purchase until a deposit has cleared to your account. There are two main advantages to making online purchases with PayPal:

  1. EASIER and SAFER: You only give your bill-to information to one, proven, secure agent. You have consumer protections that do not exist in all on-line markets. In the event of a refund, your return credits are more complete and much faster.

  2. LESS EXPENSIVE. The service charges that vendors of small product lines must pay are much less than the costs of a merchant account with the credit card companies.

For new buyers, signing up for a PayPal account is now optional. This means customers can complete their payments first, and then decide whether to save their information for future purchases. The checkout is more convenient, resulting in higher customer satisfaction. This process is this easy:

      1.     Customers enter their name and shipping address.

      2.     They are prompted for their credit card, email address, and phone number.

      3.     (Optional) After reviewing their information, they may choose to save their information by
creating a PayPal account to make future transactions faster.
